I have a morbid fascination with this years Democrat convention. Thus, I'm actually watching it. It's bizarrely fascinating.
The best example of the tripe Democrats are serving is this quote from former Ohio Governor Ted Strickland:
Vince Lombardi was right when he said, "It's not whether you get knocked down, it's whether you get back up." And my friends Ina Sydney, Brian Slagle and James Fayson were all knocked down. But Ina, Brian and James are all standing today. The auto industry is standing today. The middle class is standing today. Ohio is standing today. America is standing strong today.Of course, the notion that Obama's government takeover of the auto companies was anything other than a corrupt boondoggle for Obama's union cronies is easily disprovable.
Democrats, however, believe this crap.
A friend recently told me "Marxism is the evil leading the stupid." I agree. Watching the DNC last night, however, I'm thinking rank-and-file Democrats are a lot stupider than I thought.
