- Unlike the rest of the German Church, Bonhoeffer knew they had to resist the Nazi's.
- The Nazi's tried to remove the Old Testament from the German Church; Bonhoeffer responded by writing a book about Psalms.
- If you want to remove Jewish influence from Chrisitanity: "Good Luck with that!"
- Bonhoeffer understood that if you have a relationship with God, you don't have to fear death.
