An unintentionally revealing tidbit about how Texas politics really operates....

Quorum report is a corrupt, low circulation, publication that details gossip around the Texas capitol.  We don't read them often, but occasionally they say more than they intend.  Yesterday was one of those occasions:

Wow; so the realtors have just hired:

• THREE former committee chairs (from both chambers).

• A former Joe Straus chief of staff.

• The daughter of the current dean of the Texas Senate (Whitmire).

Bottom Line: Never, ever, ever forget that Texas politics is primarily about a bunch of good ol' boys (at every level) putting together shady real estate deals.
