Steve Toth on Old Testament Law and the Cross

Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill."

Matthew 5:17

The Woodlands, TX -- Earlier today, Cahnman's Musings interviewed Texas Senate Candidate Steve Toth about his special election May 10th.  Due to technical difficulties, we might not be able to post the interview until tomorrow.  But he made a great point at lunch that deserves commendation on it's own.

We were discussing the failure American Churches to properly disciple new believers in the Old Testament.  This is especially true for Genesis, since without Original Sin, the Gospel isn't necessary.  Toth made a fantastic point that he has graciously allowed us to quote:

"The Old Testament is a series of credit card payments before the bill was paid in full at the Cross."

Amen.

Toth's district runs from the Woodlands east to Beaumont.  His special election will be May 10th, three weeks BEFORE the Statewide Office run-off.  Turnout will be very, very low.
