Grade Inflation at Texas' Universities

"Dishonest scales are an abomination to the Lord,
But a just weight is His delight."
Proverbs 11:1

Tom Lindsay of TPPF discusses the pernicious effect of grade inflation:

Highlights:
  • In 1960, 16% of all grades were A's
  • Today, it's 43%.
  • 73% are now A's and B's.
  • This effect produces "compression at the top."
  • Employers now consider transcripts to be meaningless.
