Way to go:
After entering the race for Austin City Council, District 8, just a few weeks ago, our campaign has received over $18,500 - well beyond the goal we had set - and according to the campaign finance reports filed yesterday, one of the highest totals in District 8! In fact, despite being in the race the shortest period of time out of all of the candidates in our district, we have out-raised almost all of the city council candidates in ANY district across the city.
