Texas Democrats Lie to Silence Black Woman

The Democrat-Media complex is treating Kesha Rogers like a Republican:
Following a frantic push by Texas Democratic Party hacks directly controlled by President Obama's political operation, and the expenditure of more than 3 million dollars by my opponent, the primary vote for me was suppressed on primary day, March 4, 2014.

Despite a last minute push of lying propaganda against me, I won enough votes to force a run-off, placing second, while all relevant polling showed me leading the race the week before.

....

To cite the current lie du jour: "Kesha Rogers supports the impeachment and execution of President Barack Obama." In my 2012 Congressional primary campaign, my campaign staff produced a video satirizing the President's narcissistic personality disorder -- a very dangerous problem for someone with his hand on the nuclear button.

Obama's operatives deliberately distorted one line in that satire to come up with the lie that I support the President's execution. No reasonable person who has listened to this video could come up with this statement of fact about it.

There is a line in the video suggesting that Obama receive a dose of sodium pentothal, or truth serum from his doctor. Obama's hacks claimed that since sodium pentothal is apparently also used in capital executions in Texas that this is what the song meant.

Really? This is what millions of dollars buys? While the suggestion concerning truth serum occurred in a satirical context which those who are literate know is not to be taken a face value --it is a joke, after all-- I have to ask at this point, what if Obama were forced to tell the truth about what he is doing and who his real sponsors are? The result would surely be immediate impeachment by an outraged citizenry.

For the record, the statement that I have called for Obama's execution is an inflammatory lie. I have not and would never call for Obama's execution. Not only do I hold all human life to be sacred --I firmly believe that Obama needs to be impeached through a political process which will re-introduce Americans to the fundamental precepts underlying our Constitution.
In other words, Texas Democrats are giving a black woman the full Sarah Palin treatment.

On Immigration and Syria: An Open Letter to Congressman Roger Williams

Dear Congressman Williams,

It's been an interesting few months.  We've had our agreements.  We've also had multiple disagreements.

I'm writing today on two topics: Immigration and Syria.

On immigration, I expect you to vote against ANY bill out of the United States' House.  Any bill the House passes will be a Trojan horse for Amnesty in conference committee.  Do not vote for ANY bill related to immigration between now and the end of the 113th Congress.

On Syria, I encourage you oppose any military intervention in Syria that President Obama and Senator McCain might advocate.  Unfortunately, following his record in Libya, I doubt this President will ask Congress for permission.  In that event, I expect you to IMMEDIATELY move to de-fund this action.  Nothing good can come out of military intervention in Syria (at least at this time).  As Sarah Palin said last week, let Allah sort it out.

As I told you during the campaign last year, we're not going to agree on every issue.  That's fine.  If you do the right thing on immigration and Syria, however, I can overlook A LOT of other areas of disagreement.

You'll be in my prayers.

Welcoming Brietbart Sports

This morning, Breitbart.com announced the addition of Breitbart Sports to the Breitbart family; this is a welcome development in the culture war.

Sports media is a primary transmission mechanism for what Andrew called 'liberalism by osmosis,' where a generally apolitical population receives Marxism in small, subtle, doses that shifts public opinion over time.

The best way to illustrate this phenomenon is with an example from my personal life.  Back in 2008, I was looking at polling data from that election with ESPN playing in the background.  I was trying to understand why public opinion had shifted so dramatically against Sarah Palin when, on cue, the ESPN anchors chimed in with back-to-back-to-back 'Sarah Palin is stupid' jokes.  People who didn't follow the news got their view of Sarah Palin shaped by ESPN.  That moment was my personal epiphany, but the insidious role of sports media is obvious to anyone paying attention.

Since 2008, it's gotten worse.  From denigrating Tim Tebow's faith, to Bob Costas' recent endorsement of gun-grabbing, sports media's influence on our culture is undeniable.  It's long past time to hold sports media accountable.

In the short term, this means getting in front of this phony NFL-concussion 'issue.'  Lawsuits are here, and the sports media will help turn this into a boondoggle for trial lawyers.  Bullcrap.  Most NFL players who go broke do so through their own stupidity.  The coming cultural kerfuffle over NFL concussions is a fight we can win.

Culture is upstream of politics, and sports is often at the front line of culture; this is a shrewd move by the Brietbart crew.

Update: Talk about God's perfect sense of timing.  About two hours after I posted this, I'm watching Ken Burns' The Tenth Inning on MLB Network.  Who is doing the commentary for this documentary?!?  Keith Olbermann, Bob Costas, and Chris Rock are talking about 'economic pressures' as an excuse for steroids.  Textbook example.

An Open Letter to 2008 Obama Voters

Hi,

You don't know me.  I live in Texas.  In 2008, I voted for Sarah Palin.

I don't know why you voted for Obama in 2008 and, honestly, I don't care.  What I do know is that a good number of you have soured on the man.  You might not be sold on Mitt, but I want to make sure you understand your options.

It's ok to stay home.

Let's face facts: it hasn't worked.  Our national debt is bigger than our GDP.  Unemployment is persistently high, even though the Obama administration is cooking the books.  Obama forced through a corrupt Health Care law against the will of the American People.  Our border is on fire.  Our embassies are being attacked overseas and Obama continues to lie about it.  But maybe you're not (yet) comfortable with Mitt.

That's fine; it's ok to stay home.

Personally, I think Mitt is different from George W. Bush.  I think Mitt will listen to the American people in a way George W. Bush never did.  You might not.

That's fine; it's ok to stay home.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to earn your vote.  I'd prefer to earn your vote.  In order to make the changes America needs, Mitt needs to win as big of a landslide as possible.  But I'm also realistic enough to understand that you might not be convinced in the next 19 days.  In that contingency, I want you to understand your options.

It's ok to stay home.

My only request is that you pay attention after Mitt takes office.  After Mitt takes office, you will see meaningful tax simplification, meaningful spending cuts, and meaningful changes abroad.  While I'd love you to vote for Mitt, I know it might be impossible to convince you in the final 19 days.

It's ok to stay home.

Sincerely,
Adam Cahn

Medicare 2012: Freedom vs. Death Panels

Let's talk Medicare.  With Paul Ryan on the ticket, it's going to be a major topic.  That's fine with me.

Medicare is Broke.  It's not going broke, IT'S ALREADY THERE!!!  Medicare, as it's been understood for 50 years, isn't an option.  Left unchanged, Medicare will eventually consume our economy.  The relevant question is not whether Medicare will change, but how it will change.

In 2010, Barack Obama signed massive changes to Medicare into law as part of his health care law.  That legislation contained $700 billion in cuts to Medicare THAT ARE NOW WRITTEN INTO LAW.  To oversee these cuts, Obama's Health Care Law creates a new entity, called the Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB).  According to the New England Journal of Medicine:
Provisions of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (now being referred to as the Affordable Care Act, or ACA) create an Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB) to meet the need to oversee health care system costs.1 The legislation establishes specific target growth rates for Medicare and charges the IPAB with ensuring that Medicare expenditures stay within these limits. The IPAB must also make recommendations to Congress as to how to control health care costs more generally.
Translated into English, this means 15 unelected bureaucrats will ration health care from Washington D.C. without accountability to Congress or the American People.  For the record, IPAB was what Sarah Palin was talking about when she referred to 'death panels.'  That's Obama's vision.

Patient centered Medicare reform, by contrast, puts individual Americans in charge of their own Health Care.  Instead of an unaccountable Medicare Politburo making decisions for the entire country, Washington D.C. would send the money directly to individuals.  This would leave individuals free to purchase Health Care services in whatever manner they see fit.  Over time, as traditional price signals return to the Health Care services market, costs will come down.  Paul Ryan's budget proposal is one example of patient centered Medicare reform.

Medicare, as it was understood for 50 years, went away with Obama's health care law.  It's not coming back, because WE CAN'T AFFORD IT.  The relevant question now is what will replace it.  We can either follow Obama's vision of unaccountable bureaucrats rationing care or we can pursue patient centered reforms along the lines of Paul Ryan's proposal.  On way or the other, however, we must choose, because we can't afford the old status quo.

Sarah Palin to Headline RightOnline 2012

So, a couple of hours ago, I learned this:
Sarah Palin will be the headline speaker at this conservative celebration, which runs from June 15-16 at the Venetian Resort and Casino.

This was my reaction:
