With election close, Democrats step up their VOTER FRAUD efforts

National radio host Hugh Hewitt once wrote a book: "If it's not close, they can't cheat."  Well, it is close.  And, they are trying to cheat.

Tarrant County:

Lorant called the Tarrant County Elections office and spoke to the early voting coordinator. She learned someone had voted in her name at Southlake Town Hall on Sunday, October 28, at 11:32 a.m.

How could that happen with Texas’ voter ID requirement?

It’s possible a poll worker at Southlake mistakenly signed in another voter under Lorant’s name. Lorant says they didn’t properly verify the voter’s ID, allowing someone to steal her vote and disenfranchise her. Election officials can resolve whether it was a mistake or voter fraud by simply looking at the voter signature page.

In either case, election workers may have cost Lorant her vote and allowed a fraudulent one to be counted.

Dallas County:

Dallas Republicans are once again battling local Democrats to stop voter fraud. They were in court today seeking a temporary restraining order against Dallas County’s Democrat elections administrator Toni Pippins-Poole to delay opening of suspicious mail ballots, which was scheduled to begin at 7:00 a.m.

Lawyers for the Dallas County Republican Party asked a judge to sequester about 2,400 mail ballots submitted for the November election that GOP ballot board members identified as questionable. They also flagged 20 mail ballots signed by disgraced ex-state representative Terri Hodge as an “assistant.”

Hodge, a Democrat, pleaded guilty in 2010 to felony tax evasion in a Dallas bribery scandal and spent a year in prison. Hodge is prohibited from running for public office but continues to assist mail-ballot voters.

Judge Gena Slaughter, also a Democrat, is hearing the case. Slaughter delayed today’s hearing for 24 hours to allow the DCRP to present additional evidence with its amended TRO request, and to give Pippins-Poole time to secure representation. Dallas County District Attorney Faith Johnson, a Republican, has recused herself from the proceedings.

Harris County:

Voter roll integrity is at risk in Harris County because the county’s elected voter registration official isn’t doing her job, state and local officials said today in a press conference.

State Sen. Paul Bettencourt (R–Houston) made the announcement in front of a UPS store at 1302 Waugh in Houston, where 84 people are registered to vote—and 22 have already voted in the November election.

The problem, said Bettencourt, is that Harris County Voter Registrar Ann Harris Bennett, a Democrat, is allowing commercial addresses to be used by voters across the county.

“Already there have been 22 votes out of this UPS store,” said Bettencourt. “Why do we have voter registration at a commercial address?” He said approximately 100 similar locations throughout the county also had at least 10 registered voters each.

And these are only the cases we know about; God only knows what else is happening.

This is very serious.

A dirty little secret about election theft is that it's difficult to do if an election is a blowout.  Not impossible.  But difficult.

However, if the election is close, it's not that hard.

Right now, unfortunately, it's close.

Bottom Line:  Be prepared for months of litigation after the election.

Texas' Congressional Delegation doing NOTHING as Holder plots next round of redistricting lawsuits

While we were making this point yesterday...guess who was in Dallas doing what:

Former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder met Tuesday with Latino grassroots organization leaders in North Texas to offer political and financial support for their efforts to mobilize Latino voters in the coming years.

Holder stopped in Dallas to attend a roundtable discussion and offer the backing of the National Democratic Redistricting Committee, a group formed in January 2017 that raised more than $10 million during its first six months of active fundraising.

The committee's focus around the country is on breaking the Republican Party's control on how congressional district maps are drawn.

Translation: Holder's helping all of the usual suspect groups, who call every redistricting map Texas ever passes racist, raise more money than ever heading into the 2020 census.  This means more (and more ridiculous) redistricting lawsuits than ever.  That's the present trajectory.

But it's completely preventable.  Congress has jurisdiction to shut this down.  Unfortunately, the Texas Republican delegation is silent.  Likewise the candidates.

Bottom Line:  This is an obvious and predicable mess.  It's completely preventable.  Unfortunately, Texas' Republican Congressional delegation doesn't have the will to prevent it.

The Coming Collapse of the Race Card

Well, it's official; a Democrat-dominated panel of Federal Judges threw out Texas' voter-ID law; Governor Perry says it best:

Chalk up another victory for fraud. Federal judges subverted the will of the people of Texas and undermined our effort to ensure fair and accurate elections. The Obama Administration's claim that it's a burden to present a photo ID to vote simply defies common sense.

This ruling made my blood pressure spike, but only for ten seconds; it reeks of desperation.

The notion that, having to prove you actually are who you say you are before voting, is racist is silly. The nation's Attorney General had his ballot given away.  In reality, dishonest elections hurt minorities.

This is insulting.  In Texas, it takes 45 minutes and twenty-five dollars to get a photo-ID.  If you believe minorities are incapable of getting a photo-ID then, quite honestly, you're the racist.

This won't last much longer.  Eric Holder already helped elect Ted Cruz.  Barack Obama's pathetic re-election campaign, following the Treyvon Martin hoax, is draining the race card's potency.  Calling voter-ID laws racist won't restore it.  A year or two after Obama leaves office, the race card will be done.

Emerging Corruption in Obama's Campaign

This past week, three major stories highlighted corruption on the campaign side of team Obama.  Handled properly, these three scandals will devastate Obama's re-election effort.  Consider the following:

• In 2009, Jim Messina, who was Deputy White House Chief of Staff at the time, negotiated a corrupt bargain with the Pharmaceutical Industry to secure their support for Obama's Health Insurance Protection Racket.  That corrupt bargain has lead to drug shortages, but protected PhRMA's profits.  Jim Messina is currently Obama's 2012 Campaign Manager.

• David Plouffe, who managed Obama's 2008 campaign, got paid $100,000 to give a speech in 2010 to a company that does business with the Iranian Military.  This probably isn't illegal, but it stinks to high heck.  David Plouffe is currently the White House liaison to the re-election campaign.

• Stephanie Cutter, currently Jim Messina's deputy, helped the official Obama 2012 campaign coordinate an attack with a pro-Obama SuperPAC.  This is illegal.  Stephanie Cutter should be prosecuted.

The corruption in Obama's campaign is an allegory for the corruption in Obama's White House.  If they're smart, Team Mitt will demand Obama fire these people from his political team, then relentlessly tie them to Obama if he doesn't.  If Obama continues to employ these people, it will speak volumes about his character.

The corruption among policy-makers in the Obama White House is staggering.  Rooting it out will be a difficult, long-term, process.  Thus, we won't achieve much before election day.

Going after corruption on the Obama political team is easier.  Firing a political staffer, even one on the government payroll, is simple. Cabinet members and policy makers are entitled to certain due process that political staffers are not.  Forcing the Obama operation to jettison these staffers (or endure the bad publicity of keeping them on) will also throw the campaign into greater chaos.  If we can collect the scalps of Jim Messina, David Plouffe, and Stephanie Cutter now, then it will make it MUCH easier to collect the scalps of Hillary Clinton, Eric Holder, Janet Napoletano, Elena Kagan, and Tim Geithner over time.

A Note on Accountability and Writing History

The past few days, I've been neck deep reading about corruption in the Obama administration.  From Hillary Clinton, to Eric Holder, to Janet Napoletano, to Elena Kagan, to Tim Geithner, to countless others, the level of corruption, sleaze, and outright treason in this administration boggles the mind.  Unfortunately, we're not going to get to the bottom of the Obama administration's malfeasance before Mitt takes over next year.  That's why Citizen Journalists and Tea Partiers need to continue investigating this administration after they leave office.  History will thank us.

In his speech at FreePAC last month, John Fund explained that the easiest way to prevent future acts of voter fraud is to prosecute the acts of voter fraud that have already occured.  The more I think about it, the more that statement applies in general.  The best was to prevent future corruption is to prosecute the corruption that has occured in the Obama and late Bush administrations.

When Mitt assumes office next year, there is going to be tremendous pressure to 'Move On' from the late Bush/Obama years.  Citizen Journalists and Tea Partiers need to resist this pressure.  Fortunately, Citizen Journalists and Tea Partiers have gotten really good at resisting pressure.

In my interview last June, Ted Cruz said accountability for Eric Holder and Elena Kagan "certainly could" extend past January 2013.  I also spoke privately with a Republican U.S. Congressman last month who actually expressed stronger sentiments than Ted Cruz did in the interview.  That's good, but we can't rely on elected officials to do our job for us.

We're in the final six months of Barack Obama's administration.  At this point, it's obvious that they're running out the clock and hoping that we'll forget about their malfeasance.  If we want to prevent the corruption of the past 5 years from happening again, we can't let that happen.  We need to maintain long memories.  History will thank us.

How Eric Holder Helped Elect Ted Cruz

In his victory speech last night, Ted Cruz said "Millions of Texans and Millions of Americans are rising up to reclaim our country, to defend liberty, and to restore the Constitution."  That's true.  Ted Cruz's victory last night was fueled by countless activists, bloggers, and volunteers.

There is, however, one man who's contribution stands out.

In 2011, the Texas Legislature performed its constitutionally mandated redistricting function.  Unfortunately, Eric Holder's Justice Department, in collaboration with radical Latino groups, sued the state of Texas, which delayed the election twice.  Those two months were critical for Ted Cruz's campaign.

In early 2012, Dewhurst led Cruz by double digits.  In addition, the Presidential campaign was still in full swing, which would have sucked all the oxygen out of the U.S. Senate race.  Had this election been held on time, Dewhurst would have won and it probably wouldn't have been close.

Instead, Ted Cruz got an extra month to campaign; the results speak for themselves.  The poetic justice is that Ted Cruz has been Eric Holder's most effective critic.  In February, Ted Cruz called for Eric Holder's impeachment.  In April 2012, Ted Cruz's campaign released this devastating video about Fast and Furious:

Ted Cruz has been at the forefront defending our voter-ID law and Texas' sovereignty.  In my own interview with him in June, Ted Cruz said accountability for Eric Holder 'certainly could' extend past January 20, 2013.

• The bottom line for Ted Cruz on both Elena Kagan and Eric Holder is that all administrations need to be held accountable for their actions and that accountability 'certainly could' extend past January 20th of next year.
• We discussed the growth of the administrative state and what Ted Cruz intends to do about it.  Ted Cruz supports legislation called the REINS Act that will require an affirmative vote of Congress before any Federal Regulation with an economic impact over $100 million goes into effect.
• Finally, we discussed energy development and the controversy over fracking.  Ted believes that, in the unlikely event Barack Obama is re-elected, he will actively seek to ban fracking.  Being from New York originally, this issue hits home for me.

Well, with the news this morning, it certainly looks like the you know what is starting to hit the fan for Attorney General Holder.

Let me put it this way: if Eric Holder, or some other prominent Obama administration official, suddenly ends up on a plane to Switzerland, then you heard it here first.

John Cornyn's Pathetic Pander on Eric Holder

A couple days ago, Texas' own U.S. Senator John Cornyn had this encounter with U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder:

Stuff like this drives me insane; let's review John Cornyn's record:

• John Cornyn voted FOR Bush's TARP Bailout
• John Cornyn voted FOR Obama's Debt-Ceiling Bailout
• John Cornyn voted FOR Obama's Indefinite Detention Law

I could go on, because John Cornyn has voted for A LOT of atrocious legislation.  John Cornyn has also been a disgraceful chairman of the Republican Senate Campaign committee.  It's against this backdrop that we must assess John Cornyn shamelessly mugging for the cameras from the chamber of the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee.

This incident encapsulates everything that's infuriating about Texas' Congressional Delegation.  Our congressional delegation routinely supports terrible legislation, then they pander and tell Texas Conservatives what we want to hear.  Texas' Republican Congressional delegation has zero interest in limited government unless they can use it to make Democrats look bad.

That isn't good enough.  If John Cornyn were serious about getting to the bottom of Fast and Furious, he'd have played hardball with the Obama administration a year ago.  Mugging for the cameras and yelling at Eric Holder is way to little, waaaaaaaaay too late.

Contrast John Cornyn's words with Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott's actions.  Where John Cornyn threw a Public Hissy fit, Attorney General Abbott has quietly sued the Federal Govt. over 20 times.  Unlike John Cornyn, Attorney General Abbott gets results.

With all due respect, Senator Cornyn, you've been playing this game for a decade; we've figured it out.
