#HAILSATANTX: Democrat Push Poll attempting to dupe Gullible Republicans

"You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies."
John 8:44

Republicans better be real, real, careful on the border crisis, says the Dallas Morning News:
Three-quarters of South Texas Hispanics say they want fair treatment of the Central American youngsters pouring into the state, and about two-thirds would vote against a politician who favors immediately deporting the children, according to a poll released Monday by a Democratic political action committee.

Houston trial lawyer and Democratic donor Steve Mostyn funds Back to Basics PAC, which has been a strong critic of Gov. Rick Perry. Mostyn’s PAC commissioned the poll, which was completed last week by Washington-based Lake Research Partners.
Steve Mostyn, of course, is this guy:

Meanwhile, this is the founder of Lake Research Partners:
Celinda Lake is one of the Democratic Party's leading political strategists, serving as tactician and senior advisor to the national party committees, dozens of Democratic incumbents, and challengers at all levels of the electoral process. Celinda and her firm are known for cutting-edge research on issues including the economy, health care, the environment and education, and have worked for a number of institutions including the Democratic National Committee (DNC), the Democratic Governor's Association (DGA), Next Generation, AFL-CIO, SEIU, AFSCME, NEA, AFT, IAFF, Sierra Club, EcoAmerica, Planned Parenthood, Human Rights Campaign, EMILY's List, the Kaiser Family Foundation and The RWJ Foundation. Her work has also taken her to advise fledgling democratic parties in several post-war Eastern European countries, including Ukraine, and South Africa. In 2008, Celinda worked as pollster for Vice President Biden.
Tellingly, neither the DMN nor Back to Basics PAC released a PDF of the poll.

That's strange, considering that the Democrat poll conflicts with a separate poll last week:
A new poll from Economist/YouGov shows how badly that plan backfired -- even among Hispanics.

Rather than convince the American people that passing a mass amnesty is what's needed, the burst of border coverage earlier this month convinced 77% of the American people that the kids need to be sent back home. A full 42% want the kids sent back immediately regardless of what's happening in their home countries. Add to that another 35% who want them sent back unless their home country is deemed unsafe.

Only 11% want what Obama, Democrats, and the media want -- which is amnesty for everyone.

The numbers are not all that different among Hispanics. Only 22% want to give the children amnesty. A full 64% want the children deported. Of that 64%, 28% want them deported immediately; 36% want them deported unless their home country is deemed unsafe.

That puts Hispanics almost perfectly in line with the rest of country.
By contrast, you can read the YouGov poll here.

To summarize: An uber-wealthy Democrat donor pays a Democrat polling firm who gets a Democrat friendly result.  They leak it to a separate Democrat friendly news outlet.  None of the above parties actually makes the poll they're citing public.  Meanwhile, the poll that contradicts these findings is available for anyone to see.  But cower in fear, Republicans, because Steve Mostyn clearly has your best interests at heart....
